Its time to sell my 1969 Triumph TR6R. This matching numbers motorcycle was completely and correctly restored by Don Massey. To accompany the sale of this bike comes the honors of winning multiple shows and concourse events including but not limited to a "Best In Show" and "Best Triumph" at the Clubman show in Northern CA and multiple BSA owners events.

This bike has been with our close group of enthusiasts for almost 3 decades, and to our knowledge, it has never been registered for the road. It shows less than 40 miles on the odometer, which are believed to be correct.

This Triumph received its award-winning restoration years ago and has been on display in a museum setting, correctly stored for all of these years. The restoration has held up beautifully with no signs of age or corrosion on any surface of this bike. Don Hutchinson supplied the paint and stripes that give this Triumph a correct factory-matched color scheme and detail.

Mickey Peters built the engine and gearbox. The engine was completely dismantled and correctly, down to the hardware, rebuilt. During the restoration, the 4-speed gearbox was upgraded to a 5-speed.

It has undergone a 40-hour detailing process and shows as beautifully as the day it was completed in the factory. They really do not come any nicer than this.

  • Beautiful bike! I'm not sure if my eyes are playing tricks on me, but is there a small dent/paint blemish underneath the left side Triumph tank badge?
  • Why is the bike on the side stand resting on wood blocks? If it is for show (display) purposes, why did you not use the center stand?
