History lessons aside...please read the entire listing of this very significant motorcycle. I urge you to watch the video and look at the pictures. I have many more photos if needed, including under the seat, and of the tool kit. Just ask.

The 1972 Suzuki GT750J LeMans. This is an original survivor bike with only 8444 miles.
As with any motorcycle this age, there are small blemishes in the paint here and there from age. Nothing major, other than what is picutred. Paint overall is gorgeous. The exhaust system is very straight and free of any major rust. There is some surface rust on the inner portions of the mufflers, as well as some staining from what looks like battery acid. All of the chrome and alloy surfaces are in excellent condition for their age. Some micro pitting is evedent throughout.
Recently pulled out of long term storage, I have performed a comprehensive service to get this bike safely back into road use. Short of the small tear in the seat, and the 2 dings in the tank (shown) this Suzuki is in absolutely beautiful original condition. There is a video link of a COLD start below. Please watch it. This bike will start very easily from cold with just a bit of choke. It settles into a very steady idle. No funny noises. It runs and rides wonderfully. Shifting is very smooth, neutral is easy to find, and all electrics work as they should. It comes with the complete tool kit. Despite the tear in the seat, it is still very very supple and comfortable.  The Avon Road Rider tires are in very good shape. Many miles left to go. I have personally put over 200 trouble free miles on this bike, including riding The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride this last weekend. It is a pleasure to ride. Very civilized. Not what one would expect from a 750 2-stroke. Bid with the highest confidence.

So, what I've done...
-Flushed gearbox oil
-Flushed 2 stroke oil lines and tank
-Flushed fuel tank
-Replaced thermostat
-Replaced coolant
-Resealed complete exhaust system
-Rebuilt front forks (seals and oil)
-Installed Accent Electronic Ignition system
-Replaced spark plugs
-Ultrasonically cleaned carburetors
-Synched carbs and oil injection
-Replaced battery
-Rebuilt fuel valve

This bike will be sold with a BILL OF SALE ONLY at this point. I may entertain getting the title to the right buyer. I can hold this bike for an agreed amount of time after the auction ends and after it has been paid in full per the auction terms. Full payment within 5 days please. I have a large shop, so the bike will be safe while transport is arranged. I am more than happy to help where I can. Again, please just ask. Thanks!
