Up for auction is my 1987 Honda TLR 250 Reflex. I do so love this little bike that Honda saw fit to only export for the 1986 model year. This unusual trials style bike seemed to come late in the game and crossed the line between trials and dual sport riding. It doesn't have an aggressive seating position like a trials bike, but was capable of doing so. Like the other bikes I have listed, the previous owner saw fit to remove all of the electrical equipment, such as lights, turn signals, horn, gauges, etc. to make it purely a dirt bike. The true mileage is unknown. He, unfortunately did not retain any of the removed parts, which seem to hold the real value with these rare machines. Over all, it is in excellent shape. It does not appear to have been thrashed about, or misused. The frame shows wear marks from boots, and there are some dings in the metal work. The inside of the tank is perfect. The tires show age cracks, I'd guess they are original to the bike. The chrome rims are in good to excellent condition. The bike started and ran great. But as it has been sitting in my shed for some time, I can get it to run for a few seconds then it stalls. I will try to get to the carburetor before the auction ends, because it will start very easily and run like a Honda when it is cleaned up. There is not a title or any registration with this bike. It will be sold with the bill of sale I received when I purchased it. Please ask any questions or leave comments. I will answer them to the best of my abilities. Thank you.
